The Spiritual Association of OLV

What is the Association?
The Spiritual Association is a society of individuals devoted to Our Lady of Victory. Founded in 1882 by Father Nelson Baker, it continues to this day at Our Lady of Victory Homes of Charity in Lackawanna, with worldwide membership. Father Baker began the Association to honor his lifelong patroness, Our Lady of Victory, and to spread devotion to her. He credited the success of his charitable works to her.
Association members, by their enrollment offerings and donations, help us provide services to the disabled children, adults and troubled youth entrusted to our care. By participating in the Association, members share in rich spiritual benefits and give honor to Our Lady. And each year, through Our Lady's intercession with her Divine Son, members receive countless blessings!

Active Members of the Spiritual Association perform the following:

  •     Help those in need - giving honor to Our Lady of Victory.
  •     Say the Association Prayer daily - for your own intentions and those of other members.
  •     Wear the medal of Our Lady of Victory.

  •     Remembrance in a Special Mass offered monthly for Association members.
